"Nothing like a wounded and tortured 16 year old boy to whet the inquisitors appetite and rain pride down upon our great and noble nation. Let the banners unfurl and the trumpets sound, we are a people that stand by the torture of children."
-Canadian Cynic, speaking about well-known terrorist Omar Khadr
*Note: I was going to just quote one of his posts where he says "twat" like, a thousand million times--instead of using actual words to intelligently explain whatever logic he thinks he's putting together in his mind--but I really didn't want that many dirty words on my blog in one day!

Did you see the videos of the Khadr kid being interrogated by CSIS?
The far-left whackos are making it out to be an example of horrible torture and abuse ... which just goes to show how out of touch with reality they truly are. The CSIS guy doesn't threaten, doesn't abuse him, doesn't even raise his voice. The worst he does is suggest that Khadr is making up his allegations of abuse, and then tell him that if he doesn't cooperate nobody will be able to help him. Meanwhile Khadr comes across as a self-absorbed emo kid, moaning and writhing in bouts of unadulterated self-pity. Makes you want to smack the idiot. It also makes me wonder how people like "Canadian Cynic" made it this far. You'd figure that a room-temperature IQ would be an impediment to their survival. Maybe we do need to reconsider evolutionary theory after all ;)
I'm so bloody sick of hearing the weeping and wailing over this "poor child." First of all, what was he when he killed that American - 15, 16? That's not a "child." I know a Canadian WWII veteran who enlisted in 1939 at the age of 17; returned home in 1945.
Second, and most importantly, he was fighting for the enemy - against Americans and Canadians. Can you say TREASON! That alone should mean his citizenship is revoked (unfortunately, we no longer have the death penalty here for treason, or I might have been tempted to say "bring him home.")
But, I'm not going to open my arms or bend over for any of these terrorists or their whining sympathizers.
